Ingredients
1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
¼ cup almond flour (optional, for extra crispness)
2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt (plus more for sprinkling)
2–3 tablespoons cold water (adjust as needed)
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (optional, for flavor)
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra savory flavor)
Instructions
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Mix the dry ingredients:
In a medium bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, almond flour (if using), and salt. If you’re adding herbs or garlic powder, include them in this step as well.Add the wet ingredients:
Pour in the melted butter or olive oil and mix well. Gradually add cold water, starting with 2 tablespoons, until the dough comes together into a ball. If the dough feels too dry, add an additional tablespoon of water.Roll out the dough:
Place the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll it out as thin as possible (the thinner, the crispier!). Use a rolling pin to get it nice and even.Cut into cracker shapes:
Once the dough is rolled out, cut it into small squares, rectangles, or any shape you like using a knife or pizza cutter. Prick each cracker with a fork to help them crisp up evenly.Bake the crackers:
Transfer the crackers to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crispy. Keep an eye on them, as they can burn quickly.Cool and serve:
Let the crackers cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, sprinkle with a little extra salt (if desired) and enjoy!
